Put our experience to work for you....
The partners of Rawlings & McMillan are in the practice of law because they care
about serving the public. Both bring years of legal expertise and public service to the
firm.
Walter C. McMillan, Jr. served for over 40 years as the Chief Judge of Superior
Courts of the Middle Judicial Circuit and during that time held numerous leadership
positions in Georgia's court system. Upon his retirement in 2006, he was the
longest-serving Superior Court Judge in Georgia. Since then, he has continued in the
practice of law and has served as a special master and arbitrator.
Thomas C. Rawlings served for over seven years as Judge of the Juvenile Courts of
the Middle Judicial Circuit and later was appointed Georgia's Child Advocate for the
Protection of Children by Governor Sonny Perdue. He brings years of experience in
juvenile and child welfare law and is professionally fluent in Spanish, having directed
a nonprofit in Guatemala serving victims of child abuse and their families.
